Get started with SnapShare in just a few seconds.

1. Install the Chrome Extension

Open the extension page to install from the Chrome Web Store when available, or use the versioned manual package.

Click the puzzle piece icon in Chrome and pin SnapShare for easy access.

Highlight text

Select any text on any webpage. It can be a quote, a code snippet, or any content you want to share.

Click the SnapShare button

A floating button appears near your selection. Open SnapShare, choose a layout, then generate a card for one credit.

Share anywhere

Your card is ready to share on Twitter, Slack, Discord, or anywhere you like.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need credits?

Yes. Every card generation requires a signed-in account and uses one credit. You can buy a one-time pack or subscribe for a monthly allowance.

Which browsers are supported?

Currently, SnapShare is available as a Chrome extension. We're working on adding support for Firefox, Safari, and Edge.

Can I use SnapShare without installing?

Yes! Try our Demo page to see how it works without installing the extension.

Where do shared links go?

Shared links open the original source when one is attached. Cards without a source open their SnapShare preview.

How do I track my shared cards?

Sign in to use your Dashboard. Standard access includes card and click totals; an active subscription adds detailed analytics.

Can I customize my cards?

All generated cards are free of forced SnapShare watermarks. Active subscriptions unlock custom author branding, configured Pro templates, and full analytics.
